Emily said your whole trip is awesome and she wishes she could go there. She also said to tell you that, if you meet a hot Italian guy, send him home for her. She needs a date for the next dance! ;)
Your first meal looked pretty good, a bit on the white side, but good nonetheless. Are you finding that mostly pasta is served there or are you discovering other foods, too. Any veggies???
I also noticed that you all are wearing coats. Is is cold there? I can't imagine how you got all those clothes over there!
